Electronic posters will be made in 16:9 format, portret orientation with a preferred resolution of 1920/1080 in jpg format.
Please send the final poster form by mail to contact@htc.com.ro with the subject "Poster_RHD_2023" until 1th of October to have time to check compatibility with the exposure system and fix any problems in a timely manner.
The posters will be exposed in the foyer throughout the conference as well as during the poster session when the authors will have the opportunity to present them to those interested.
The abstracts will be sent exclusively online by filling out the form on the website and will be published in the Romanian Hernia Days Conference Abstract book.
Abstracts submitted without at least one author being enrolled as a participant until the 1st of September 2023 will not be accepted.
The abstract and the poster will be written in English - the official language of the conference.
The names of the authors will be written down without specifying the teaching or professional degree by mentioning only the full name followed by the initial (initial) of the surname;
The number of co-authors will not be greater than 10.
The summary will contain the headings: objective, materials and methods, results and conclusions. The text will be written without paragraph or other indentations; the abstraction will not be formatted (bold, italic) and will not include graphics, photos or sketches;
With the submission of the abstract, the first author has the responsibility to assume responsibility for the information presented, to confirm that all authors of the paper know and agree with the content of the abstract and allow the organizers to publish the abstract in the summary of the conference;
The abstracts submitted will be evaluated by the scientific committee of the conference and the corresponding author will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of the paper for a maximum of two weeks after the deadline for submitting the abstracts.
